Basic Hummus

Ingredients
- 15 ounces Garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- ½ cup Water-packed, roasted red peppers
- 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Tahini
- 1-2 clove Garlic, peeled
- ¼ teaspoon Cumin
- Salt to taste (optional)
Method
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
- Combine chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, and cumin in a food processor or blender.
- Process until very smooth, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add water a tablespoon at a time to thin.
- Salt to taste.
- Refrigerate up to a week.
